Burnout is the first passage into the most common stress related syndrome out there today. Adrenal Fatigue happens in the later stages of burnout, if action is not taken to treat the underlying causes for reaching a state of total mind, body, and emotional depletion.
In this episode I talk about my take on "diets", and when you might need to look deeper than your fork for solutions to your health and weight loss struggles. There is a abundance of positive thinking advice out there today, and while it definitely has a place in achieving goals in life, health, and business, it can also be a detriment to our healing and evolution process. It has been said that in everything we strive to achieve is 90% mindset. And, in psychology we are taught with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that thoughts create feelings. And this is true! The thought does come before the emotion. But, we also need to honor and make space for the feelings, without feeling like we need to slap on a positive affirmation, or force a positive mindset over top of painful emotions that need to be felt.
In this episode I talk about how to know the difference between depression and burnout. The signs are very similar, and can overlap, so it's important to take an overall approach to get back on track to health and vitality.
